    Here you’ll find everything you need to get started, manage your listings, and make the most of your time on the platform. Whether you’re building something impactful or looking to support local growth, we’re here to help.

    1. About KhyteAfrica

    KhyteAfrica is a community-driven platform created to help small local businesses, social-impact projects, and job seekers connect with supporters, funders, and talent — all in one place.

    We support:

    • Businesses – Small or growing businesses seeking funding, partnerships, visibility, or local hires.
    • Projects – Community development initiatives, social enterprises, or charity efforts looking for backers or resources.
    • Job Listings – Open roles for individuals looking to hire or get hired locally.
    • Supporters – Individuals, investors, donors, and organizations looking to support businesses and community-led initiatives.

    2. Getting Started

    Signing Up:
    You can register as a Business Owner, Project Leader, Job Poster, or a Supporter.

    Creating a Listing:
    Click on “Add Listing” and choose one of the following:

    • Business
    • Project
    • Job

    Promotional options are available for 10, 21, or 45 days to boost visibility on the platform and newsletters.

    3. Listing Types

    KhyteAfrica currently supports three listing types:

     

    • Business Listings (for ventures seeking funding, exposure, or partnerships)
    • Project Listings (for charity, social good, or community development initiatives)
    • Job Listings (to help local employers find the right talent)

    Each listing includes tag options like:

    • Type and amount of funding needed
    • Business or project category
    • Hiring needs (for jobs)
    • Location and target audience

    Listing Review:
    All listings are reviewed before going live. You’ll receive an email once your listing is approved or rejected (with reasons and a link to platform guidelines).

    Claiming a Listing:
    If your business or project is already listed, you can claim it by clicking the ‘Claim Listing’ button and submitting proof of ownership.

    4. Emails You May Receive

    • Welcome emails (Supporters and Creators)
    • Listing submission status updates
    • Promotion confirmation and expiry alerts
    • Notifications on listing activity (e.g., views, reports)
    • Newsletter subscription confirmation

    5. Newsletter & Promotion

    Listings promoted for 10, 21, or 45 days are automatically considered for inclusion in our newsletters.
    Subscribers will receive updates on featured listings, platform tips, and impact stories.

    6. Tags & Discovery

    Tags make your listing easier to find by the right audience. These include:

    • Funding type (donation, equity, loan)
    • Stage (idea, growth, expansion)
    • Project or business category
    • Funding amount
    • Hiring type (for jobs)

    Tags appear on the Explore page and help your listing stand out.
